A Tasty Blend of Friendship

After Wednesday's class, the Rotaractors went to Tasty Pot Sunway for a round of food fiesta and fellowship. After bearing the Federal highway jam and Lekha's car got banged and all, we reached there with our stomaches growling mad. They gave us an enormous table with three stoves bubbling with 6 types of soup base. Admittedly, it was quite a while I had so much seafood in one day, and it was just, awesome.

Soo Wen who just became president of SRC began to grant wishes to all of us after listening to complains ranging from too strict attire rules to clogged toilets. Later, Erna got cake dunked so badly she had cream in her nose. Joke of the day was the act of putting a barbequed crab into the boiling soup. Never laughed so madly for a very long time. It was splendid food, even betetr fellowship.

Okay some pics are stolen, which explains much of the inconsistency in colour in the pictures.

I miss my friends so much and that I know that I'd not see them again after the end of Christmas holidays. But never mind, and also, after this, I promise myself to lessen my play and focus more on studies.

AWESOME!

These Good Days

Nothing trades the time well spent with people you love. Two weeks of holidays without seeing those bastards, bring me the first breath of fresh freedom and enjoyment. Though my ideal getaway would be the beach, random meet ups and shopping sprees does the remedy equally well.

1. Went for buffet with the girls.

2. Helped Zi Qin to look for furniture for her future home.

3. Shopped for three consequtive days and emptied my savings account.
4. Went for warehouse sales and almost got into a fight.
5. Went mamak to watch football to get the feel.
6. Pierced my ears again.
7. Watched movies and stuck my face to the TV for Mega Sundays on AXN.
8. Sang k with the guys.
9. Baked with the twins.
10. Finished 4 bags of chips in a night thanks to World Cup.
11. Fell in love with bangles.
12. Went for a day trip of mall hopping with Yen Yuen.

13. Went picnic with high school friends.

14. One heavy dinner consisting of 7 course meals with family.
15. Grandparents came over and went for dimsum.

16. Telan-ed one whole durain@@

Working, just give me pains in my ass. Not just I dislike it, I loathe work very much. Probably due to the reason I never liked kids, or working for mum increases the stress one have to cope. Long working hours with unfixed hours, random chores and getting blamed for everything is annoying and discouraging.

Heck I thought I will be enjoying my break which I duly deserve after so many months of hard work and sacrifice for my exams. And how wrong was I. Now I'm praying for holidays to end and my new term to start asap.

Side note to that: I don't work for the sake of money; I work for the sake of interest and satisfaction. I don't work to serve other's belief, I stand on my own principles and deliver my services accordingly. I am worthy of every single piece of respect due to my respect to others. I work in positive light, I see oppurtunity and I am moved my optimism. If I have to pretend and sacrifice everything and have no life in return, I don't see the purpose of giving all in. That's why, I just think this business is a total fucked up plan if you don't have the mentality to sustain pressures and blame everyone for mistakes, refusing advices and hoping for everyone who work for you to be ideal. Cause no one is perfect, and neither am I, or you.

I'm out of this madhouse after July.

CNY 2010

Started with reunion dinner at grandma's place.

Proceeded with camwhoring session. (The rest of the photos are in FB)

We webcam-ed with our aunt and uncle who lives in Japan after dinner.

And somebody got drunk during desert.

But we still stayed around until one in the morning to see our lantern fly to the night sky, carrying wishes for the new year.

*

I so do not get the idea of celebrating CNY like secara besar besaran because excluding family gatherings, the gluttony, overspending and fuss, it's simply not worth it. I don't see the particular need to exaggerate it. And I hate the drama and whatever fashion or beauty runway competition which takes place every year during reunion. It sounds too politicalised to be ignored and I am of a person with a kiasu ambition. Plus, I had a really bad time during the first day of CNY thanks to mum initiating the drama and all. I being a sucker started studying public law for a while (Yeah JJ, you definitely scared the crap out of me) and glued my face to the PC for hours watching movies. So honestly CNY is the same to me like every other day, well, except for the fact mum is at home grunting and scolding for basically everything she lay her sight on. Gosh, I am so hating every moment I spend time at home man. I just wish I could go back to college where my life takes place without interruptions. I sound like a whiny workaholic because I am. I love law more than CNY. *Winks*

Anticipating Friday to come soon. I need my assignments commented.

A Good Day

I think I had not laughed that hard in such a long time but today, these people made me revive lots of nice memories and tons of happy moments spent together. It feels just like high school, where your friends are there with you.

Lunch at Italiannes @ OU.

Was super syokked after laughing non stop for hours, plus doing the one activity I loved the most: shopping. Finally, my cny clothes dah semua kaotim-ed. YAY!!!

They have cats in OU. Cute~~

PS: Guys, you people are awesome. How I wish you all were not in Paris or JB. And I daresay, our case makes a clear cut example of absence makes the heart fonder scenario. Thanks for everything you have given me. I have nothing to give in return, but my sincere appreciation.

A Roll of Events

The feeling after exams is simply describable in one word: SYOK.

Spent my Friday over at Weng Sum's place, then out to Soul'ed Out for dinner with primary school classmates.

Well, more of these opportunities would make my life memorable should I say? =)

*

Saturday night, attended Alex's/Chris's bro's wedding dinner. Besides splendid food and the joy of congratulating a married friend, the chances of eye candying were of aplenty. ^^

Four of us make the event rock, well, an overstatement lol. Not forgetting the Annie scene. Classic I should say. *Insiders Joke*

*

Sunday and Monday, took the liberty of staying at home to do our annual spring cleaning. The event which spoils my mood.

The night out at Desa ParkCity rounded up the cacatness of the day, thank God.

*

Today, went One U with Pei dear. Ate like a mad woman.

Firstly, walled up tang yuens in her house. Dong Zhi falls on today, much to my surprise. In fact no one in my house gave notice. XD

Next stopped by McD for sundaes. =)

Then went to Garden Cafe for dinner.

Secretly feel that place utilises the similar concept as Full House.

Waffle World for tea.

After a very unsuccessful attempt of trying Paddington House of Pancakes and Chocolate Lounge.

Omigosh.....FATTENING! ==

Random shots in One U:

Performance with conjunction of Christmas. Note: Those kids were uber cuteeeee!

I bought sticky =)And look, it says Merry X'mas there ^^

Love love love love=) If they are tahanable ( from me eating non-stop) I will go share them with my friends. And the truth is, I am irrevocably in love with Sticky. Not just sticky, I mean, like every single sweet in the world. I would go head over heels for them, by just looking at those colourful glittering shiny things in bottles made me feel very very happy. I could stay in Sticky for hours and hours just looking at sweets. Oh my... Sugarish^^ Sticky is so addictive =)

*

The rest of the holidays would probably would be me spending time with myself. I need a solo trip, a night for poetry (I've abandoned my poetry writing for such a long time), time to master Nocturne Op.9 No.1 (find it super nice, hence need to practice, a solo arts performance... Cause I know that this would be the last days to do anything BUT LAW because once January starts, I vow to commit my time and effort on LAW AND LAW ALONE, hehehehe...Enthusiastic leh~

Still, torn between choices for Christmas eve night. =________=

Sunday SPS and Shopping

I always wonder why they have classes on Sundays because it is obvious that no one wants to attend but anyway I attended, late for an hour and flustered from top to toe, still in yesterday night's sleep top and hair tied with a pasar rubber band. Room 3MN was extremely cold and I ended up sleeping behind there with a pile of tissues stuck in my nostrils. Those minutes where I was awake was spent playing Pac Man on my Iphone.

Random picture taken from my seat at the back during Common Law. Was kinda pilot test for my Iphone's camera.

Then I'm off to Times Square after lunch to meet with Xuan dear. She came back from Sarawak for her sem break.

Me, IPhone baby, Xuan dear.

And we ate like nobody's business.
First at Room Eighteen.

Xuan with Sai Mai Lou whatever la.

Me with xut shan fei wu.

Yay!

Second destination. Sweet Chat.

Smiles =)

Another one with smiles =)

Food makes us smile hahahahaha!

Xuan dear gave me kek lapis, some kinda local food from Sarawak. Niceeeee! I am extremely happy for the fact now everyone who I love dearly is back in KL and it only means: PARTY!! Twins are already back as well as Zi Qin and most of Maxwell dudes. Life has just gone better, for me at least. =)

Nyah~

Family Dinner

We had our inaugural family dinners once in a while, so today our family gathered in our home to have one. This morning mum, grandma and my aunts went to the market and shopped till 11am and came back with lots of stuff for dinner. I requested for curry chicken ^^. Loves grandma. Aunt bought a roast duck for us to share too. So it was like, food galore. Awesome one.

Preparation.

Food. Spot my curry special order. ^^

Dessert after dinner plus music session. Piano + guitar + violin. O_o

Just want you all to know that I enjoyed every minute of the dinner. Special thanks to Huan for teaching me how to play your violin, and to everyone for bearing the shriek rather than the melody. And man I am in love with grandma's curry chicken. Tak tertahan punya kesedapan. =) And please la people, don't la exaggerate stuff la lol. Found it darn funy weih.

I still love you guys loads, okay? =)

Family Gathering

Cousin Wan Shin is back from Ukraine for her holidays so we gathered in grandma's house for a dinner together. It was fun meeting up all my favorite cousins from all over the place and gossip about everyone's boyfriends, of course not mine, cause I am still single (and available XD. It was real fun to catch up with everybody, because it has been ages since I've seen them.

Food! Grandma cooked her signature steamed duck or something, was AWESOME!!!

After dinner we karaoke-d in the living room using a laptop and we plugged the microphone and amplifiers to it. The KTVs were all youtube on the spot singing versions, which was super funny. but we did had a great time because all the mangkuks are shreiking and acted as if they were superstars in concert. We ended the session with Michael Jackson's Heal the World, and it was fun!

Everyone was on high mode. Which was so rare because my family is renowned for super serious><. But sooo cute leh!

We cousies rock!!!

MV Day Out

Since a very homesick Zi Qin was back in KL after suffering in UTM, Johor for 2 weeks, we decided to meet up Mei Li, who was on sem break from UTP and Yvette, who was back for the weekends form Unisel. For someone whose college is situated in the very heart of KL, it would be difficult to fathom the conditions of my fellow friends who lived in complete isolation in university campus, and I, do love my KL very very much XD. I am a very superficially typical KL dude who cannot live without the city. Send me to a rural campus and I swear I will cry. I mean, I love the development, the facilities, the happennings. Without malls, who can live I ask you? So Mid Valley we went to shop plus to meet up and dine.

Mega sales is on (Yippee!!! Shopping Shopping!) again, and they have all these monsters deco. Cute~

And so we amused ourselves with those stuffed monsters.

Mei Li acting dumb. (No, she is.)

My girls XD.

We had lunch in Chili's then Delicious for afternoon tea. Someone was super craving for fries for no reason at all.

Camwhoring while waiting. It was a Saturday and it was so packed.

Mangkuks.

Presenting the menu =)

I heart them lots lots =)

Food =))

In Delicious.

Camwhoring again.

Mega sales is the best thing that has ever happened in life. In Zara and MNG, all those tops were thrown around like no value and it was just so so so cheap I just have to buy. Today I spent on clothes form Voir, Topshop, MNG and S and K. Man, I love shopping so much. I want more and I want it now. I consider myself okay except for the jacket I got from MNg, a bit expensive but I bought it anyway because I loved it.

And I am so very happy with my shopping!
